Mini skewers
Banderillas (Mini skewers) are well-known for their contrast in flavours. They consist of gherkins, olives, pickled onions, red sweet peppers, and chili peppers, all skewered on a skewer of approximately 10 cm length. The distinctive feature of a banderilla is its combination of the tangy flavours acquired in the pickling process and the spicy touch of the chili peppers. They are frequently served as appetisers in Spanish bars and restaurants.
